Giancarlo is a successful TV writer: fame, money, love – all the trappings of a man who has made it. But all that ends when his cousin Bernardo comes blustering into his life, vaunting an ancient blessing / curse that has endowed him with the power to hear what people are truly saying behind the backs of others. From that day, everything that Giancarlo had built for himself begins to teeter and fall into ruination. Giancarlo suddenly realizes that his colleagues hold him in high contempt and that his supposed lifelong friends could never actually stomach him. What’s more, it appears that his wife, Elena, a journalist ever on the hunt for the scoop of her lifetime, is two-timing him with Raul, a famous business tycoon. But then, when even his job starts to go down the proverbial tubes, Giancarlo goes full beast mode to claw his way back up, while at the same time avenging all the wrongs he had been put through.
